During the summer vacation of 2020, the School of Political Science and Public Administration invited Professor George Lambie from Technische Universität Dresden in Germany and Professor Daniel Green and Aaron Fichtelberg from the University of Delaware in the United States to offer three high-quality basic courses in political science and theories of international relations.

Among them, Professor George Lambie lectured on International Political Economy, Professor Green lectured on Basic Theories and Historical Development of International Relations, and Professor Fichtelberg lectured on Basic Theories of Law and Society. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, summer classes were held online from July 10 to July 24, 2020. Nearly 120 students from dozens of majors in the three campuses of Qingdao, Jinan and Weihai attended these courses.

During the lectures the three professors paid great attention to interaction, actively mobilizing students to participate and discuss. In this way, most students could participate in the class and communicate with them. Han Ziqiang and Zhao Yujia, teachers of the school, also held online meetings with foreign professors to discuss matters needing attention, how to manage courses, and feedback on the class.

To implement the school's teaching internationalization strategy and provide students with opportunities to participate in international courses without the need to leave campus, the School of Political Science and Public Administration overcame difficulties and actively cooperated with foreign scholars to hold the international summer school online this year, which achieved good results.
