Two scholars in the School of Political Science and Public Administration are listed on the “Highly Cited Chinese Researchers 2020” from Elsevier in the discipline of politics and international studies

On April 22, 2021, Elsevier officially released its list of “Highly Cited Chinese Researchers 2020”. The list takes Scopus, a global citation and index database, as the data sources of Chinese scholars’ scientific research achievements, and adopts the selection method designed by Shanghai Ranking Consultancy to analyze the academic performance of Chinese scholars. Since its first release in 2015, the annual list has been published seven times and has attracted widespread attention at home and abroad.

The list obtains 4,023 Chinese scholars from 373 universities, enterprises, and scientific research institutions in 2020, covering 10 fields of disciplines and 84 first-level disciplines of the Ministry of Education.

A total of 8 scholars from 5 universities and scientific research institutions are named in the discipline of politics and international studies, and two of them, Dean Daniel A. Bell and Professor Qin Yaqing, belong to our school. The list is as follows:
