On November 24, the Ninth National University's Simulated Mayors Competition, which was hosted by the Government Strategy and Public Policy Research Professional Committee of the China Management and Modernization Research Institute and the Government Management Institute of the Central Finance and Economics University, was held in Beijing.

A total of 30 colleges and universities and more than 200 teams participated in the National University "Model Mayor" contest, which was followed by China Youth Daily, Beijing News, people's Network and other major media on a large scale. After layer by layer selections and fierce competitions, finally, a team of seven students from the SPSPA, "Getting the Young Educated", stood out and entered the Finals.

In the competition, the team first introduced the research method and development of the team in the form of video, and analyzed the problems from four dimensions respectively of the government, the society, the kindergarten and the young. After that, the team demonstrated the presence in a humorous play. In the end, in the final "PK" of the mayor, Zhang carry forward the students from six dimensions to explain how to guard against the economic and social problems that coastal cities acting as eastern windows of our country have produced under the background of the trade friction between China and the United States, and have obtained the executive chairman of the evaluation committee.

Finally, the "Getting the Young Educated" team won the third prize. Through this competition, the college has strengthened the direction of cultivating students' feelings, international vision, innovation ability, logical thinking and expression ability. In the future, our college will continue to work hard to cultivate the talents training goal of the best undergraduates with solid subject knowledge, strong innovative consciousness, profound humanistic background and broad international vision.
