Abstract：

Based on structured interviews with 23 foreign experts working in Shandong， this study  attempts to investigate factors that influence international talents’ satisfaction with life in China. The  research discovers that the key factors include individuals’ Chinese-language proficiency and social  networks， employers’ welfare support， government services， ect. The paper provides a useful reference  for policy makers and potential employers to invent and implement effective strategies to attract and recruit  international talents to China.
