Profile

Cao Xianqiang is Professor of Public Administration at the School. He is also Vice President of SDU Qingdao Campus and Executive Deputy Dean of the School of Political Science and Public Administration. Professor Cao Xianqiang has been teaching and researching in Public Administration at the School for over 20 years and is the founder and Director of the Institute of Urban Development and Public Policy. He also serves as Council member in various associations such as Chinese Academy of Management, Society of Urban Strategy and Public Policy, Shandong Political Science Research Society, Shandong Public Administration Society and as expert panel in government think tanks at various levels. In recognizing his contribution to teaching and researching the in the field, Professor Cao Xianqiang was awarded “New Century Outstanding Talent” by the Ministry of Education in 2010.
